Team Registration
Thank you for considering Brownell Talbot Aquatics for your child's swimming journey. Before enrolling, please review the important information below:
Brownell Talbot Aquatics is a USA Swimming Competitive Swim Team, not a learn-to-swim program. To join, swimmers must demonstrate the ability to swim 25 yards of freestyle unassisted, 25 yards of backstroke unassisted, and float on their back unassisted for 20-30 seconds. We will teach all other necessary skills and stroke techniques. If you are unsure whether your child meets these requirements, please schedule a tryout with Associate Head Coach Jeff Nelson at Jeff.Nelson@Brownell.edu.
Swim Meet Participation:
Home Meets: Once your child is deemed ready by the coach, they are expected to participate in all HOME Meets.
Away Meets: While participation in away meets is strongly encouraged, it is not mandatory.
End of Season Championship Meets: All swimmers will compete at the highest-level championship meet they qualify for.
Please note that we have limited training space with only 6 lanes. If we observe that your child is not participating in swim meets, we may request that you do not return the following season to accommodate committed athletes who will compete for the Raiders.
Team registration for the Fall Session is Open.
